Rihanna’s relatable video proves why being a boy mum is no joke

While it may be hard to relate to celebrities on a lot of levels, one thing that’s clear is we all face the same parenting struggles.
Rihanna, who’s mum to boys RZA and Riot, proved that being a boy mum is now joke alongside a hilarious video she shared on Instagram.
“Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport,” she captioned the video of two-year-old RZA as he tried to escape from his travel cot.

The clip had the appropriate backing music too, the Mission Impossible theme song.

RZA tried a couple of times to throw a leg over the cot to break out and eventually got there, flipping himself over the edge and onto a couch.
Then he walked over to grab his drink bottle off the floor, proving all that effort was thirsty work – mission accomplished.

“Omg yes!!! Boys are WILD,” wrote one fan.
Another commented, “This is only the beginning with boys 💙😭 they have that energy!
“That skilled audacity is one for the win!!” commented one fan.
Another replied, “Never thought me and you would be relating on such a respective level like this.”

The comments were full of other boy mums who really understand this and shared their own memories of their kids doing the same thing.
Even Today Show Entertainment reporter – and fellow boy mum – Renee Bargh gets it, but added there’s another level that makes it even harder.
“You’ve gotta have eyes in the back of your head,” she said after the video played on the show.
“I can also confirm being pregnant and a boy mum is definitely an Olympic sport.”
Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky have spoken a lot about their life as parents, and she’s been open about wanting to grow their family too.
She said she’d be open to having “as many as god wants me to have” when it comes to more kids in an interview with Interview magazine earlier this year.
“I would try for my girl. But, of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy,” she added.
