Description
New in the box Auxiliary Trailer Camera.OEM GM part number 84946379.
Make the trailer invisible on your Next Generation Silverado or Sierra with this Chevrolet Accessories Trailer Camera Package.
This add-on camera enables a Transparent Trailer View on select models with Two Trailer View Camera Provisions (RPOs
CWM
or
PDM
or
UVN
). It provides an additional driver-activated view from the trailer and projected on your vehicle’s infotainment radio screen. This wired trailer camera is designed for placement on the rear of the trailer, inside the trailer, or both (requires 2 cameras). Camera placement on the rear of the trailer provides an additional view point and allows the infotainment system to create the "invisible" or "transparent" trailer. The Transparent Trailer View relies on the factory tailgate camera and this camera mounted at the rear of the trailer to generate a transparent trailer view. This camera is also referred to as an Auxiliary Trailer Camera which can also be used inside the trailer. The Inside Trailer View utilizes the left-side camera port on the Two Trailer Camera Receptacle shown (see images) while the rear trailer camera plugs into the right-side. Two Cameras are required for Inside Trailer View combined with Transparent Trailer / Rear Trailer View.
