Your bid is for this vintage book entitled, "The Secret At Shadow Ranch"...Written by Caroyln Keene...AKA was Mildred Wirt Benson, as she wrote some of the first Nancy Drew Novels...Published by Grosset & Dunlap...Dated 1931...I believe this may be a 1st True Edition, but without dustjacket hard to tell....Book is illustrated with 4 glossy black and white illustrations...Illustrated by Tandy...1 is frontispiece and the other 3 are throughout the book...
Dustjacket is Missing
...Has prepasted Hudson's Book Shop Detroit pasted on back blank endsheet...........

I did go through Farahs Guide and did find out it is Format 1...But could either be a True Ist or B-2 or C-3...The price for the book is the same, it is the dustjacket that would bring it more money...
Cover is plain blue boards with what look like beige or yellowish letters outlined in black...It appears the orange prinitng or color has worn off...Letters on spine are dark blue lettering...
Endpapers are blank...
There are 25 chapters...
Book lists to this title as the last title on Copyright page...(I know this may not be accurate) without having Dustjacket...
Paper stock is thick and good quality...
There are 203 paginated pages, and has 4 illustrations and 1 additonal page at rear...
Gift inscription is dated December 25, 1932...
Has additional page in back that reads, That Isn't All!...This is inside a box...Look at following pages and you will find listed a few outstanding boy's and girls books published by Grosset & Dunlap...But there were no other pages after that and there are not supposed to be.............

.....Hardcover book...Blue boards with beige or yellowish lettering outlined in black on cover...Blue lettering on spine area...Book is rolled forward...Cover has wear at edges and corners with fraying,boards exposed...Has scuff and scratches and bumping to edges...Has light soiling all over...Gift inscription in young girls handwriting is dated December 25,1932...Hinges cracked, threads exposed...Binding is good though...
Pages lightly browned from age...Minor foxing and minor smudges throughout...No tears...
