Description

Precious 5" figurines of the Water Nymph, Clytie, denoting each of the four seasons. They are in the following order on the first image - Winter (skis), Spring (snail), Summer (roses), and Fall (cornucopia). These are copies made from an early 19th century bust. The porcelain is very good quality and the detail on the figurines is excellent. To view the detail, please open each photo.
Clytie, in Greek Mythology, was the daughter of Oceanus and Tethys and loved Helios.The figurines measure approximately 5" with a base of 2-3/8" wide.  They are all in excellent condition without any nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing.
