Quarter Plate Gutta Percha Frame w/ Ambrotype Post-Mortem Baby on Mother's Lap.  The frame is listed in Paul Berg's book on page 507 #7-21.
The ambrotype is of the bereaved mother sitting in front of her fireplace with the child.  Note the gold broach at her neck.  The picture is very tastefully done and in very nice condition.  The frame is also in very good condition and measures 6-1/4” c 5-3/8”. This is a great piece to add to your photographica collection ~~~ it's been in our's for over 50 years and is pictured on page 88 of our book
